Privacy Policy - JyoroMate

This Privacy Policy explains how Jyoro Technologies LLC ("Jyoro", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the JyoroMate mobile application and related services (the "App"). JyoroMate is a human-resource management application provided to employees, contractors, and administrators of organizations that have engaged Jyoro's services.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who this policy applies to

JyoroMate is an internal workforce application. Accounts are created and managed by your employer or the organization administering the App. It is not intended for use by the general public or by anyone under the age of 18.

2. Information we collect

We collect information that you or your organization provide, and information generated through your use of the App:

Account and profile information

Name, employee ID, email address, and phone number
Department, position, and employment status
Date of birth, gender, and address (where provided by your organization)
Profile photograph (if uploaded)

Attendance and time information

Check-in and check-out times, shift assignments, and computed working hours
The IP address of the device used to record attendance
Where your organization uses biometric or RFID attendance devices, the identifiers used to map your device enrollment to your employee record
Leave requests, balances, holidays, and timesheet entries

Payroll and financial information

Salary and payslip details (earnings, allowances, and deductions)
Bank account details (bank name, account number, and IFSC) where provided for payroll purposes

Documents and work records

Documents you or your organization upload, which may include identity or immigration documents, and company-issued documents
Tasks, performance records, consultant/RTR logs, and related work items

Technical and device information

A device push-notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send you app notifications
Basic technical data needed to authenticate you and keep the service secure, such as session tokens and error/diagnostic logs

Location: JyoroMate does not collect precise GPS location. It records the network IP address associated with an attendance action. If your build later adds GPS-based attendance, this section must be updated and the Play Data Safety form adjusted accordingly.

3. How we use your information

To authenticate you and provide the App's core HR features (attendance, leave, payroll, timesheets, documents, tasks)
To calculate attendance, working hours, leave balances, and payroll
To route approvals to the appropriate team leads and administrators
To send operational notifications (for example, approval status or announcements)
To maintain the security and integrity of the service and to prevent misuse
To comply with your organization's HR obligations and applicable law

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. How information is shared

Your information is accessible within your own organization on a role-based basis - for example, your team lead and HR/administrator roles may view records relevant to their responsibilities. Beyond that, we share information only:

With service providers who help us operate the App, such as our hosting provider and Google Firebase (for push notifications). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate obligations.
When required by law, such as to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or lawful government request.
To protect rights and safety, where necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, security incidents, or violations of our terms.

5. Data storage and security

Information is stored on servers operated for Jyoro (currently hosted at hrms.jyoro.in). We use access controls, authentication, and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, and thereafter as required to meet your organization's legal, accounting, or record-keeping obligations. When information is no longer required, we take steps to delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because your account is administered by your organization, many of these requests are handled through your employer's HR or administrator. You may also contact us using the details below, and we will respond in accordance with applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where it applies.

8. Children's privacy

JyoroMate is intended solely for employees and authorized users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International use

Jyoro Technologies operates in India and works with organizations connected to the United States. Where information is processed in a country other than the one in which you are located, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this policy and applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you through the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
